Responsibilities

• Interview patients or their representatives to obtain demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing.
• Verify insurance pre-certification requirements and coverage details.
• Identify the patient accurately, resolve duplicate medical record numbers, and explain patient rights and privacy practices.
