Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses in healthcare, business, or finance preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or a related field.
• Must hold de-escalation training by orientation completion (90 days) and maintain appropriate level thereafter.
• Strong communication skills with customer-focused approach; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to the Patient Access Services Registration team on day-to-day revenue cycle front-end operations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, define work assignments, and uphold service standards under department leadership.
• Engage in orientation and continuing education for Registration Specialists; support crises and decision-making.
• Coordinate cooperation across departments; maintain fair and respectful teamwork in SRHS service area.
