Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Michigan is seeking an Evening Shift Part-time Patient Registration Coordinator to provide patient-focused service and manage registration and insurance verification.

You will collect payments, verify eligibility, and supply information to patients, families and providers, with training sessions during first weeks. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential for accurate, timely service.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Data entry speed of 50–60 keystrokes per minute.
• Basic computer skills required.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within 1 year of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Interpersonal skills for internal and external customers.
• Accuracy and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient focused customer service.
• Perform outpatient and/or inpatient registration and insurance verification.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensures payer requirements are met.
• Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.
