Trinity Health in Silver Spring is seeking a Part-time Representative II, Patient Access to verify demographic and financial information for inpatients and outpatients during registration. You will interact with patients, families, physician offices, and payers while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires high school or GED, clear communication, 2 years hospital registration or insurance verification experience, and proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred (Spanish may be required in some settings).
• Minimum of two years hospital registration or insurance verification experience.
• Familiarity with third-party payers and medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency with computers; Microsoft Office and email.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm or higher is required.
• Excellent telephone customer service and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information for inpatients and outpatients during registration.
• Enter and verify patient information in the registration system; collect signatures and payments as applicable.
• Communicate financial/insurance details to case management and financial counseling when needed.
• Complete managed care notification requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.
