Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time PRN Patient Access/Registration associate to support outpatient and inpatient services. Responsibilities include registration, insurance verification, and collecting patient payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Medical terminology knowledge is a plus.
• Insurance verification with ability to explain benefits and obtain authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused customer service for outpatient and inpatient registration and insurance verification.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure Medicare requirements and payer pre-certifications & referrals.
• Distribute analytical reports and develop educational materials.
• Utilize multiple system applications to create reports and analyze data; illustrate trends.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, Trinity Health policies, and compliance standards.
