Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center Emergency Department is hiring a Paramedic for full-time night shifts. The role involves providing age-appropriate care under RN/Physician supervision, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a busy 38-bed ED that handles roughly 160 patients daily.

Requires BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred; NIH preferred. Applicants should have Georgia Paramedic licensure and National Registry; EMT certification and strong patient communication are

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under RN/Physician supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and families.
• Perform EKGs, Foley, start IVs/IOs and draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments and monitor for arrhythmias.
