Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care with a focus on safe, therapeutic and efficient outcomes. The role requires setting up and evaluating care plans, coordinating with the care team, and mentoring junior staff as needed.

The RN will perform the nursing process, adapt care to complex situations, and support transfer and discharge planning while ensuring high-quality patient education and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• CA RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Perform the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care with the care team and supervise others as needed.
• Teach and mentor new staff and students when appropriate.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic and efficient care across the continuum.
