Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks an experienced RN to provide direct patient care, lead nursing teams, and coordinate care across disciplines in a 12-hour night shift environment. The role emphasizes adherence to standards, patient education, and efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications include ADN or higher, NM-state (or compact) license, and necessary certifications such as BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable to specialty areas.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited nursing program.
• State NM license or compact-state license required.
• BLS at minimum; ACLS/NRP/PALS per role requirements.
• Experience in direct patient care and nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of patient care and delegate to home health aides and nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and community resources.
• Ensure patients understand rights, informed consent, and discharge planning.
• Support education for patients and families using return demonstrations and teaching aids.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing research, standards and hospital policies.
• Triage and respond to patient needs during on-call duties.
