Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT seeks a Back End Nights technician to fabricate advanced optical components for semiconductor lithography systems. You will monitor CNC milling, grind and polish surfaces, coat optics, and align glass parts with high precision to meet strict specifications, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

You will inspect and document optical characteristics using metrology tools, record attendance, and assist with training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or vocational certification preferable.
• Experience with measuring equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer) desirable.
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts (kaizen, quality circles) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and own optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormal characteristics.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and elevate quality concerns promptly.
• Support production schedule execution and collaborate with engineering and management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively more challenging products.
