Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in South Bend, USA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a second shift (Thu–Sat, 4PM–4:30AM). You will supervise inbound/outbound activities, labor planning, and customer communication, while managing performance and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring KPI targets and SOP adherence. Overtime and weekend work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
• Forklift training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, slotting and customer communication activities daily.
• Plan labor scheduling and space utilization; ensure safety and cost objectives.
• Hire, train and evaluate staff; conduct performance appraisals and address issues.
