Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Canal Winchester, OH, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). The role oversees inbound, outbound, product slotting, and client communications, managing labor, space, and equipment to meet service and cost objectives.

You will hire, train, and evaluate staff, schedule daily work, and drive safety and quality while aligning with SOPs and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience in logistics/distribution.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Prefers: prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and plan improvements.
• Keeps senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues affecting operations.
• Ensures development of systems for safe, profitable operations and meets productivity goals.
• Implements cost-saving measures and suggests operational efficiency upgrades.
• Meets client KPIs and adheres to quality system requirements.
• Oversees hiring, training, performance evaluations, and HR-related activities.
