Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Sparks, USA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound, labor planning and customer communication. You’ll supervise warehouse activities, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety, cost and service objectives are met.

The role requires leadership, experience in logistics, and the ability to train and develop staff while aligning with SOPs. Works Sunday–Tuesday, 2:30am–2:30pm, and reports to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and plan improvements.
• Inform senior management and client representatives about critical issues affecting operations.
• Develops systems for managing operations, equipment and products safely and profitably, meeting productivity goals.
