Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in South Bend, USA is seeking an Operations Supervisor for second shift. You will supervise inbound/outbound activities, labor scheduling, space optimization, and customer communication daily to meet service and cost goals.

You will lead warehouse staff, manage performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs while coordinating with the Operations Manager and client teams. The role requires leadership, organization, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations including inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities.
• Schedule labor, manage space, and ensure safe, cost-effective operations.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; address performance and development needs.
• Ensure KPI achievement, safety, and quality in line with SOPs and client requirements.
• Communicate with senior management and client representatives on critical issues.
