Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Wichita, USA, is seeking a Supervisor, Operations II for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 9pm-5:30am). This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and measuring warehouse operations, developing daily schedules from customer calendars, and driving performance to meet schedules.

The position requires establishing infrastructure, ISO guidelines, and metrics, plus coordinating cycle counts, training, and truck routing.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, coordinating, and measuring operations within a warehouse facility.
• Develop daily schedules based on customer business calendars.
• Measure performance against schedules.
• Establish and maintain warehouse operational infrastructure.
• Develop ISO-level operation guidelines and metrics and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts.
• Route trucks in and out of the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide customer service to prevent and resolve errors.
• Write up documentation for exporting freight when necessary.
