Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager for the LBJ FWY site in Lancaster, USA. Under the General Manager, you will supervise warehousing, receiving and shipping, plan inbound/outbound volume, space utilization, and equipment.

You’ll hire/train staff, drive cost efficiency, and ensure safety, quality, and KPI targets are met. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and 5+ years of supervisory experience in logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing, receiving and shipping operations.
• Plan inbound/outbound volume and space utilization.
• Hire, train and manage staff; conduct appraisals.
• Ensure safety and quality per SOPs.
• Meet client KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with clients and management.
• Manage budget and staffing levels.
