Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations at the LBJ FWY facility in Lancaster, USA. You will supervise warehousing, receiving and shipping, plan inbound/outbound volume, and manage space, equipment and people performance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will hire and train staff, drive safety and quality, meet client KPIs, and collaborate with HR on performance and development. Evening shifts and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution or related environment.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and WMS systems.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems and procedures for safe, profitable operations.
• Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals and client SLAs.
• Drives continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Meets client KPIs and quality system requirements.
• Leads hiring, training, and performance management activities.
• Plans daily work schedule and assigns duties to staff.
• Coordinates space planning, equipment and staffing needs.
• Ensures SOP compliance and staff development.
