Job summary

Capstone-Logistics,-LL is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily site activities within a high-performance distribution environment. You will supervise and train staff, ensure safety, and optimize productivity across shifts.

The role requires 2–5 years of progressive management in warehousing or transportation, strong customer service, and budget awareness. A BS/BA or equivalent experience is preferred; base salary is competitive with bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and good organization.
• Experience reading P&L statements and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carrier representatives to optimize logistics costs.
• Run site operations with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Create and balance daily bank deposits and daily work logs.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved daily.
• Supervise data entry, payroll records, and shift closeouts.
• Schedule shifts and hire/train new associates as needed.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and ensure policy compliance.
