Job summary

Capstone Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager (Site Manager) to lead a site with 20–100+ associates across multiple shifts, partnering with leadership to drive safety, productivity and customer service.

You will recruit, hire and onboard drivers, manage staffing and budgets, and ensure daily operations meet service levels while maintaining compliance. A proven track record in warehouse supervision and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

3 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Third Party experience preferred
Proven track record in supervision of warehouse employees including Hiring, Training, and Termination.
Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the business with focus on safety, productivity, and service.
Staff appropriately to optimize productivity and budgetary goals.
Recruit, hire, and onboard independent contractor drivers.
Daily communications with Drivers on service levels, accountability, pay, and performance.
Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate.
Audit of daily labor and billing reports.
Ensure Partner needs are met on a daily basis.
Document and resolve any customer service or associate issues daily.
Ensure all associates follow policies and work rules including safety work rules.
Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure associate participation.
Assist in managing Site and Departmental budget.
Scheduling associate shifts based on Partner requirements.
Interview, hire, and train new associates.
Manage timely and accurate data entry for all services performed.
Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll record administration according to policies and standard operating procedures.
