Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Portland, OR. The role drives daily site operations, safety, and productivity while supervising a team of associates and supporting budget management.

You will train new hires, schedule shifts, and ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and compliance. A background in distribution/transportation with 2–5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of increasing management responsibility in distribution/transportation.
• Experience supervising warehouse/industrial staff.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor associates.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and preparing management reports.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Manage day-to-day site operations with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Balance daily cash deposits and maintain logs for corporate reporting.
• Prepare and review labor, billing, and site budgets.
• Schedule shifts to meet customer requirements and ensure coverage.
• Hire, train, and supervise new warehouse staff; enforce Capstone policies.
• Ensure accurate data entry and complete daily closeout and payroll records.
