Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Operations Admin-Customer Service at our Harrisburg location. This full-time role supports freight coordination, billing, and clerical tasks in a busy shipping environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers, processing paperwork, and monitoring accounts payable/receivable. Night shift hours are possible, and strong MS Office and typing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus.
• Experience with Haz-mat or workers' compensation is helpful.
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers by phone, email, and fax on issues like freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry tasks such as scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices, monitor checks and cash for A/R and A/P.
• Help process and monitor Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
