Job summary

PITT OHIO, a family-owned transportation company, is seeking a PT Operations Admin Customer Service at our Hamilton, NJ location. You will handle coordination with internal and external customers, process paperwork, and support dispatch and accounts payable.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data entry, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Night shift hours may be required; competitive pay and a respectful, people-first environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus.
• Haz-mat or worker’s compensation experience is helpful.
• Problem solving and analytical ability is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software products.
• Strong typing and ten key skills required.
• Night shift hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and fax about charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices, and monitor checks and cash for AR/AP.
• Assist in processing and monitoring Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
• Assist in monitoring and compliance in safety, payroll, and accounts payable.
