Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Registry/Per Diem at the TSMC Wellness Clinic, Phoenix area. Night shift from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with flexible scheduling in select positions. Per Diem roles do not guarantee hours or comprehensive benefits, but provide exposure to Banner Health's wide network and ongoing professional opportunities.

The role requires current RN license, BLS, and prior acute care experience. Completion of health screenings and background checks is required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care according to standards.
• Implement and coordinate care with health team.
• Document assessments and care plans in patient records.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care.
• Communicate with patients and families about care plans.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
