Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital – Phoenix is seeking an RN for PRN night coverage in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves admissions, ongoing patient assessments, and meticulous documentation in EPIC, with emphasis on accurate order processing and patient/family education.

Minimum qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS at hire. BSN or enrollment is preferred. This per diem/12-hour shift position supports a team delivering high-quality rehabilitation care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required at hire
• Prefer BSN or active enrollment in BSN program
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation is expected

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers
• Initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Timely electronic documentation using EPIC
• Interpret lab results and telemetry
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately
• Instruct and counsel patients and families
