Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and patient care during assigned shift.
• Ensure multi-disciplinary team communication and compliance with patient care standards.
• Perform rounds and provide managerial presence to ensure care meets policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with health team members.
• Provide staff orientation and training as needed.
• Mentor staff and handle disciplinary actions in consultation with leadership.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers and bed assignment according to clinical needs.
• Prepare reports and monitor performance improvement activities.
