Responsibilities

• Plan staff assignments based on patient acuity to ensure continuous care.
• Coordinate, implement, and monitor shift activities for efficient unit operations.
• Serve as unit liaison and resource nurse-in-charge; collaborate with staff and physicians.
• Assist in orienting and supervising students during patient care training.
• Ensure nursing tasks and treatments are documented in the medical record.
