Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Nurse Manager for Med-Surg to supervise nursing personnel during night and weekend shifts, ensure appropriate staffing, and provide clinical leadership. The role requires RN licensure, a 4-year nursing degree, and a minimum of three years in nursing with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
• RN licensure in TN or compact state required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing personnel during assigned shift and ensure multi-disciplinary team communication.
• Maintain compliance with patient care standards, ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
• Perform rounds to ensure planned care is delivered per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies coordinating with health team members.
• Provide staff orientation and training as needed.
• Make staffing decisions in collaboration with Nurse Manager/Director and apply performance improvement initiatives.
