Job summary

Advocate Health South Suburban Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support RNs in daily patient care, document in EMR, assist with transfers, vital signs, and patient positioning.

You will work 7p-730a with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Requires a High School diploma or GED; no prior experience required. Basic computer skills and good communication are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Record vitals, intake/output, weights, and patient data in EMR.
• Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges under RN supervision.
• Respond to patient calls and ensure supplies and equipment readiness.
• Transport patients and assist with position changes and transfers.
• Maintain clean, stocked nursing station and maintain patient privacy.
