Corewell Health’s 2 North unit at Troy Hospital is seeking a full-time nursing support role. You will provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assist with transport, and document care in the electronic medical record. The Observer function may involve constant observation duties, locally or remotely.

The position requires a full week orientation, night shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Sunday with 36 weekly hours and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients per the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under RN supervision.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher; dispatch services and document services.
• Serve as an Observer for patients needing constant observation, in person or via remote video monitoring.
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support nursing unit operations.
• Document care provided in the electronic medical record.
