Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant 0.6 for night shifts in the Nursing Float Pool. This part-time role supports patient care under RN supervision and contributes to a safe and compassionate hospital environment.

The position requires high school completion or GED/HSED, basic computer skills, and ability to document in the EMR. BLS is required within 45 days; no prior experience is necessary. Benefits eligible with a 24-hour weekly schedule.

Qualificações

• Education includes High School generally or GED/HSED.
• Basic computer skills and good communication expected.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care such as bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Document vital signs and patient data in EMR, and report observations to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes and keep rooms prepared.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care tests as directed.
• Maintain stock, transport items, and ensure clean work areas.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE guidelines; ensure patient safety.
• Provide age-appropriate care under RN guidance and monitor patient needs.
