Job summary

Corewell Health's 7 North East Medical Surgical unit at Royal Oak Hospital is seeking a part-time CNA for night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with patient transport, observation duties, and clerical tasks to keep the unit running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and a preferred CNA certification; hospital or long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• American Heart Association BLS required
• Current CNA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, under the direction of a RN
• Safe transport of patients and documentation of services
• Provides the services of an Observer for patients requiring constant observation
• Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate unit functioning
• Documentation of care provided in the electronic medical record
