Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Royal Oak Hospital Observation unit. You will assist with patient care, communication among care teams, and clerical tasks in a fast-paced 54-bed unit.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and essential communication with the team.
• Assist with clerical tasks and supply stocking on the unit.
• Provide patient care as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Support rapid turnover and discharge/transfer documentation on a 12-hour shift.
