Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Observer CNA on the Royal Oak campus to support the 9 North ACE unit, caring for elderly medical patients under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, safe patient transport, and accurate documentation in the EMR. The role emphasizes compassionate geriatric care within a dynamic unit and offers learning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services.
• Documentation of care provided in the electronic medical record.
