International Motors, a TRATON Group affiliate, is seeking an NPI Engineer for a night shift in San Antonio, TX. The role leads manufacturing readiness for new product introductions, engineering changes, and production launches across assembly and fabrication operations.

Collaboration across functions is essential to ensure readiness and on-time launches. The position offers a 10% shift differential upon transitioning to Night Shift.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Eng
• 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering, NPI, MPI, or production launch support
• Experience in automotive/high-volume manufacturing environments
• Experience with ERP and MES systems
• AutoCAD or CAD proficiency
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge
• Strong project management and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead NPI/MPI activities for new vehicle programs and process improvements.
• Evaluate manufacturing impacts of changes and new products.
• Develop and implement process flows for assembly and fabrication.
• Lead readiness reviews ensuring staffing, tooling, equipment, and docs are prepared.
• Support pilot builds, trials, launches, and ramp-up activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet milestones.
• Maintain manufacturing docs including PFMEAs, SWI, SOPs, and Buy-Offs.
• Create/maintain layouts using AutoCAD; perform time studies and labor analyses.
