Job summary
International Motors is recruiting a New Product Introduction/Production Planner for its San Antonio facility. The role supports manufacturing readiness for new product introductions, engineering changes, and production launches, coordinating with NPI Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Training.
The position offers a night shift with a 10% shift differential, starting early 2027, and may require extended hours or weekend support to meet objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with no experience or at least 2 years in production control/planning or customer service.
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Support NP I and production readiness activities for new vehicle programs and product changes.
- Review drawings, BOMs, specifications, and documentation to identify manufacturing requirements.
- Develop preliminary routings and POA for new parts and changes.
- Create Build Books, Process Books, and initial manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct station readiness reviews and coordinate with departments to finalize readiness.
- Provide hands-on support during pilot, prototype, certification, and initial production builds.
- Capture defects, lessons learned, and corrective actions during builds.
