Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Willard, OH is seeking a skilled Millwright for the 3rd shift (Sunday night–Thursday night, 10pm–6am).

You’ll perform maintenance on machinery, share preventative maintenance plans, and support safety and ISO standards while keeping documentation up to date. The role requires a state-approved Mechanical Maintenance Journeyman Card or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate lifts, cranes, welders, and other equipment.

Qualifications

• State approved Mechanical Maintenance Journeyman Card or five years of industry experience.
• Ability to develop, implement, or improve preventative maintenance measures.
• Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic background.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code.
• Read and comprehend instructions with strong verbal and written communication.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid lift truck operator license or complete training.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Able to work in inclement weather, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules and follow up on assignments through completion.
• Establish preventative maintenance methods to reduce downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment as scheduled.
• Attend required safety classes and follow safety rules.
• Repair and recondition equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
• Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders and other equipment.
• Train new apprentices as assigned.
• Abide by OSHA, NEC, and Fire codes.
• Maintain ISO and company procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Plan future equipment and facility requirements.
• Assist in selecting and developing maintenance personnel.
• Perform maintenance tasks as directed by Maintenance Leadership.
