Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company in St. Marys, PA is seeking two full-time Millwrights for the night shift, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., on a 3x3 schedule.

The positions report to the Maintenance Manager and involve hands-on maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include building, inspecting, repairing, and commissioning presses, furnaces, robotic equipment, cranes and related systems; reading blueprints; performing preventive maintenance; and documenting work and process data to

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
2 years’ experience preferred.
Able to read and understand procedures, prints, and equipment manuals.
Able to do basic math calculations.
Understands decimals, fractions, percentages, averages, etc.
Strong mechanical background.
Able to make detailed sketches or drawings of a technical nature.

Responsibilities

To efficiently build, inspect, repair, tryout and adjust equipment such as presses, product finishing equipment, furnaces, gas crackers, heat treaters, robotic equipment, shot blasters, cranes, tumblers and other complex manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
To accurately make parts and fixtures needed.
To read and follow blueprints with minimal aid for the engineering department.
To efficiently install, maintain and troubleshoot essential service systems and equipment such as gas, water, heat, ventilation, sanitary and air compressors.
To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification and share his/her knowledge with all classifications to improve in repair issues as well as uptime within the facility.
