Job summary

The Night Shift Millwright at Beasley Forest Products in Hazlehurst, GA 31539 is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment during overnight operations.

This full-time role requires prior millwright or industrial maintenance experience; candidates should be able to read blueprints and work safely under OSHA guidelines, with a willingness to work 12-hour nights and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical diagrams.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work night shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
