Job summary

Beasley Forest Products is seeking a skilled Night Shift Millwright to install, maintain and repair industrial machinery in Hazlehurst, GA. Responsibilities include reducing downtime, reading blueprints, and ensuring safe operation during overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Technical training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
