Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). The role involves laying out, installing and maintaining electrical/electronic systems and plant properties, diagnosing issues, and programming PLCs. You will assemble, repair, and overhaul machines and operate various shop equipment.

Must meet journeyman level and physical requirements. Competitive hourly pay of $40.07 plus $1.10 shift differential, with comprehensive benefits and tool

Qualifications

• Journeyman's Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Technician papers or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred
• Stand and walk for 8–10 hours
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Push or pull product up to 200 pounds
• Use hand tools up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

• Layout, install and maintain electrical/electronic systems and plant properties.
• Diagnose and remedy electrical/electronic problems and troubleshooting as required.
• Program, maintain and troubleshoot PLC programs.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair, rebuild and overhaul machines as needed.
• Perform bench and machining operations on parts.
• Operate lathe, grinder, milling machines and other shop equipment.
