Job summary

Beasley Forest Products in Hazlehurst, GA is seeking a skilled Night Shift Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery. This role supports production uptime and safe operation during overnight hours.

Candidates should have prior millwright or industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors, and be able to read blueprints. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Technical training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
