Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Willard, OH is hiring a Millwright for the 3rd shift (Sunday night–Thursday night, 10pm–6am).

The job offers a total hourly rate of $32.93 including shift premium, with responsibilities ranging from preventive maintenance to equipment repairs and documentation. The ideal candidate has a state-approved Maintenance Journeyman card or equivalent experience, plus expertise in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic systems.

Qualifications

• State approved Maintenance Journeyman’s card or equivalent experience.
• State approved Mechanical Maintenance Journeyman Card or five years of industry experience
• Ability to develop, implement, or improve preventative maintenance measures
• Experienced electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic background
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules and follow up on assignments through completion
• Establish preventative maintenance methods to reduce unscheduled downtime
• Complete the necessary preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment as scheduled
• Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules
• Repair and recondition equipment throughout the facility as required
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation of mechanical maintenance activities
• Operate lift truck, cranes, welders and other equipment to perform maintenance duties
• Train new apprentices as assigned
• Abide by OSHA, National Electric Code, and Fire codes
• Maintain quality and production standards following ISO and company procedures
• Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Plan and recommend future equipment and facility requirements
• Assist in the selection and development of mechanical maintenance personnel
• Perform Maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership
