Job summary

Phoenixville Hospital - Tower Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a PRN night shift role with hours from 10:30pm to 7am. The position requires 1 weekend per month along with 1 winter and 1 summer holiday.

The successful candidate will perform clinical laboratory tests, ensure quality control, and manage specimens independently. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science and eligibility for ASCP or AMT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science or completion of an equivalent program.
• Prefer 1 year of experience.
• ASCP or AMT Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and receive specimens for clinical laboratory tests.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
• Organize work to meet established deadlines and validate all data obtained.
