Qualifications

• Certified Medical Lab Scientist - ASCP or equivalent certification required.
• Certification waiver for Master's degree or 3+ years in designated specialty.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates specimen adequacy for test performance and collects specimens.
• Performs routine and specialized testing in assigned area and correlates findings with disease stage.
• Reviews and verifies test results; ensures proper documentation and prompt communication of abnormal results.
• Performs daily QC/QA and monitors equipment; ensures tolerance limits are met.
• Provides technical advice and supports other lab personnel as needed.
