Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laboratory procedures for the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from performance specifications.
• Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, and related disciplines.
• Review the accuracy of patient results prior to release or reporting; recognize age-specific differences in expected results.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments; ensure proficiency testing samples are tested consistently with patient samples; may assist LIS/POC tasks.
