Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred or related science degree.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred for higher levels.
• Prior qualification under 42 CFR 493 is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
