CHRISTUS Health is seeking a competent nurse for the Medsurg, Telemetry and Intermediate Care units. The role involves independent practice, comprehensive patient care, and delegation as needed to manage clinical situations.

Responsibilities include nursing process execution, education for patients and families, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care across assignments. Shift is 7PM–7AM, full-time on-site.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years combined experience in Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital.

Responsabilidades

• Apply the nursing process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols; monitor side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify learning needs and resources.
