Job summary

UC Health is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse I for the Med Surg 7 Northwest unit on the Night Shift at UC Medical Center. This 28-bed unit supports a Level I Trauma Center with 4–6 patients per nurse, and the RN will provide care per standards and policy while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires OH RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program and at least an Associate's Degree (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's Degree, minimum required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
• Current OH RN License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients based on assessed needs and unit standards.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to policy and procedures on a 28-bed Med Surg unit.
• Communicate the care plan clearly to patients, families and team members.
• Act as a resource and mentor for new personnel and float staff.
• Contribute to professional development of peers and self.
