Job summary

UC Health is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) for the Acute Care Medicine 8 Northwest unit for days shift at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.

The RN CN I delivers high-quality care to patients, follows established standards of care, and collaborates with the care team on a 30-bed unit. This role offers growth opportunities within a Level I trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current OH RN License.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of staff and prioritizes patient needs.
• Instructs patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care.
• Identifies and responds to patient needs from behavioral health, religious, or cultural perspectives.
• Documents nursing process and outcomes in accordance with policy.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Associate’s Degree, minimum

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
