Job summary

UC Health is hiring a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse I for the Med Surg 7 Northwest unit for the Day Shift at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current OH RN License.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient in collaboration with the health care team and patient/family.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of staff involved in patient care and establishes priorities based on patient assessment.
• Educates patients and families about treatment plans, involves them in care decisions.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and flexibility to meet unit needs.
• Documents nursing process accurately and in line with hospital policy.
• Acts as a resource and mentor for new staff on the unit.
