Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse I for the Med Surg 7 Northwest unit on the night shift at UC Medical Center. The RN will deliver high‑quality care based on patient needs, standards of care, and unit policies in a 28‑bed unit with staffing ratios of 4–6 patients per nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree is the minimum requirement.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license is required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care on the Med Surg 7 Northwest unit.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to implement the plan of care.
• Monitor patients, administer treatments, and educate families.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately.
• Support patients on the night shift and ensure trauma center standards.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Associate’s Degree, minimum required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred

Current OH RN License
